About the Game

Wizardsbane is a fast-paced 2D pixel-art metroidvania where exploration, movement, and combat all lead to one final showdown. After the death of the castle's lord, a mysterious wizard seized the fortress, corrupting its halls with dark magic and unleashing monsters upon the nearby town of Grayhaven. Every hero who entered the castle vanished, leaving you—a fallen knight with a troubled past—as the town's last hope.

Explore a vast interconnected castle filled with hidden paths, dangerous enemies, and forgotten secrets. Unlock new movement abilities to reach unexplored areas, discover shortcuts, and overcome increasingly difficult challenges. Along the way, you'll meet survivors, traders, and other mysterious characters, each with their own stories to tell, before facing the wizard in a final battle that puts everything you've learned to the test.
